There is a strange door-like structure at the base of the mountain formation from a NASA image of Mars that is causing a stir.

With the first rays of dawn on February 1, 4 BC the Star of Bethlehem appeared. This event occurred at sunrise in accordance with the original Greek text found in the biblical Matthew. The star was the vermilion supergiant Antares - just emerging from the Moon's glare in the Bagdad sky. And the quasi-universally named Antares ("Equivalent of Mars") had an ancient twin not far off - Mars (Ares). It was the "wandering star" Mars that the Wise Men followed east.

Italian archaeologists believe they have found the legendary cave of the the founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus.  The cave was reportedly considered a sacred location, "here the priests of Lupercus, a pastoral god, celebrated ceremonies until A.D. 494, when Pope Gelasius I ended the practice."

Comet 17P/Holmes so faint it's normally invisible to the naked eye burst into an explosion millions of times brighter that's in normal size in the course of just one day, Oct. 23rd - Oct. 24th, 2007.  Hubble has gathered incredible images that show a blue explosion of luminescent gasses and dust that originally was measured at 15,000 miles across but has since grown into a gigantic size that has been reported to dwarf the size of our sun.  The diameter of the outburst has grown to a size larger than our sun, 1.4 million kilometres in diameter and it's luminosity may not fade for months according to experts.
